Perfect for couples who want beautiful, natural portraits without overthinking it. This 1-hour session keeps things simple and fun. Choose from one of four thoughtfully selected locations (I’ll share a curated guide!) and come dressed in one outfit that feels like you.
We’ll spend the session capturing your connection — with lots of laughter, direction that feels easy, and just enough time to shake off any camera nerves.
It’s also a great way for us to get to know each other before the wedding! You’ll get a feel for how I work, and I’ll get to know your dynamic as a couple — so by the time the big day comes, we’re already in sync.
This is a great option if:
• You want timeless engagement photos without a long session
• You’re a little camera shy and want to keep it casual
• You want to warm up before the wedding but don’t need a big shoot
Before we ever pick up the camera, we’ll start with a Planning Session. I’ll help you choose the perfect location from my curated list of four, guide you on what to wear, and answer any questions you have about what to expect during the session.
On the day of, we’ll meet at your chosen location and spend an hour capturing relaxed, genuine portraits. I’ll walk you through simple prompts and natural direction — nothing stiff or awkward. You’ll leave feeling more confident in front of the camera and more excited for the big day ahead.
This session is casual, fun, and the perfect chance to get comfortable before the wedding. Invitation ready images and lots of laughter are pretty much guaranteed.
Hi, I’m Vince Petitjean, a documentary-style wedding photographer based in Pittsburgh. Along with my wife Nikki, our son Tobi, and our dog Winston, we love calling this city home. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me enjoying pizza, DND, Cody Johnson, coffee, or at church.
As a photographer, I focus on capturing candid moments that tell the true story of your wedding day. My goal is to create organic, authentic images that show the love you share with each other and with your friends and family. I’m not here to tell my story, but yours, through photos that you can cherish for years to come.
