Catholic Weddings are a Sacrament, not just a ceremony.

I want the images of your day to reflect the beauty and timeless

A Catholic Wedding is such a beautiful thing. Beginning this journey together as man and wife filled with the grace and love of the sacrament.

The goal of a marriage should be to get your spouse to Heaven.

This is why marriage is a sacrament. We are given the grace to love our spouse with a love like God’s. We are called to serve the other, to will their good. To help them become saints as they help us do the same. This isn’t always easy but that is why we have and need the grace that is imparted on us

If you’re anything like me, your Nuptial Mass is the most important part of your day. And you want a photographer who understands the significance of the Mass and can respect it’s sanctity.

Marriage and weddings are at the heart of so much of scripture. We see time and time again the importance of this moment where two become one.

I grew up dreaming of serving the Catholic Church. This desire led me to serving in various youth ministry organizations (meaning that I am very comfortable working with Priest and other church staff). But as a youth minister I didn’t have a way fully use my talents and gifts which led me into photographing Catholic Weddings where I can serve Christ through my couples and create art through your wedding images.

As a Catholic husband myself, I seek to love and serve Christ in my couples. I know the power of the sacrament first hand and my goal is to beautifully document the entire wedding day, but especially the Nuptial Wedding Mass.

Is there a difference between a Regular Wedding Photographer and one who is also Catholic?

Of course who you choose as your photographer is entirely up to you, and probably comes down to a number of factors. It may be hard to know if there is really a difference between hiring a regular wedding photographer versus one who is also Catholic. This really depends on your own vision and dreams for your wedding, especially in regards to your Nuptial Mass. But ultimately yes there is a difference. Here’s some reasons why you may want to consider hiring a Catholic photographer.

I have plenty of experience working with the sometimes unfortunate lighting that our churches have. Which can be troublesome for some photographers who aren’t as comfortable or confident working in churches.

I know the all the different parts of the Mass, including the unique elements of a Nuptial Mass. It also helps that I share your faith and have a strong reverence for the Mass even when “working.” This means you won’t need to explain what the consecration or why it is important to document those moments.

I am more than happy to speaking with priests and parish wedding coordinators. In fact, I make it a point to reach out to them in advance to be sure I have all the info and guidelines for their parish/church. I’ve also found that that the priest and church coordinators are put at ease knowing that I understand the reverence and care required of me.

I’ll pray for you throughout your marriage prep and beyond! This time of preparation for the sacrament can be rife with spiritual warfare. I know how stressful that time can be and will be praying and interceding for you!

I love working with couples who desire to keep Christ at the center of their wedding, while not compromising on beauty and art of photography. Your Catholic Wedding Mass is the highlight of the day. It’s the whole reason why you’ve chosen to get married in the Catholic Church. The sacrament is the most important thing to you and I on your wedding day. I make it a priority to capture the Mass beautifully and reverently so that you can look back at not just the memories of your special day, but you can see how God was present to you in the big and small ways.

Your wedding is sacred. It is filled with joy, prayer, and so much grace. Having a wedding photographer that’s a faithful Catholic, that understands and respects the Mass as a precious gift. I’d be honored to serve you, capturing the joy and beauty of your wedding day.
