Frequently Asked Questions

How do you photograph weddings?

On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique.

I like to tell my couples that my photography style is 75% documentary and 25% directorial/posed. This helps the couples maximize the time they can be present to each other and to their friends and families.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm Pittsburgh based and can easily travel to the surrounding cities, including but not limited to Steubenville, OH.

I am also more than happy to travel wherever your wedding is!

When will we get our photos?

Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 4-6 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery, and also share them, choose your favorites, and order prints!

How many pictures will we receive?

I don't like to focus on the number of photos I am taking. That being said, for an average wedding, you will receive between 600 to 900 fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that''s why I try not to focus on getting x amount of images. I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.

Why hire a catholic photographer?

I understand the Mass and will enter into the liturgy with your family and friends while I am documenting your day. I have found that the priest and church coordinators are put at ease knowing that I understand the reverence and care required by me. I can anticipate the special moments during the Mass since I am familiar with the Nuptial Mass. This helps to tell the full story of your wedding day and to capture all those little moments that you don’t want to forget.

Do you pray for your couples?

Absolutely! From the first time you reach out I begin to pray for you! And continue to do so beyond your wedding day! I see my role not just as someone providing you a service (i.e. the photography), but as someone who can intercede for you in prayer as you prepare for and live out this sacrament.

How many hours does a catholic wedding need?

This is a hard question to answer so I try to make it easy. There are so many different variables that go into the length of your wedding day. So to help simplify things my services cover a full wedding day regardless of the length of the day.

Do you help with timeline planning?

Yes! This is one of my favorite things to help with before the wedding.  We sit down together to talk through your vision and dreams for your wedding day. Once we figure that out together we create your timeline to fit your exact needs.

I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I''ll be available to answer any questions you may have photography or wedding related.
